Woman hurt during motorcycle crash, police searching for witnesses

A woman is injured during a motorcycle accident on Saturday.

The circumstances behind the crash is still being investigated.

Tulsa police say they're trying to figure out if a vehicle hit her motorcycle into a wall, near the I-44 interchange, or if the vehicle caused the victim to hit the wall while trying to avoid a crash.

The woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries to her head.

Police haven't released her name.

The accident also played havoc with Saturday traffic.  Police say the road between Sheridan and Memorial was closed to traffic around 12:30 p.m.
