Woman gets run over during an argument about a dog

A 67-year-old woman is accused of running over her neighbor's leg after an argument about a dog yesterday morning.

Tulsa police say they received the call about a dispute around 11 a.m. at a home near 45th and Riverside.

Vicki Bunds went to her neighbors home and the argument began.  Police say the suspect then went over to her neighbor's garden and began breaking flower pots.

Bunds only got more heated from there.

Police say she's accused of driving her car through her neighbor's yard and hitting the victim in the leg.  The neighbor doesn't have life-threatening injuries.

Bunds then drove away and parked her car in front of a nearby home.

Police say they found Bunds inside her house, but they had trouble getting inside.  Bunds is accused of trying to close her door on officers.

She was eventually taken into custody.

Bunds is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.  She faces a count of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and one count of leaving the scene of an injury accident.
