Woman gets arrested so she can see her boyfriend

A Texas woman was willing to do anything for her boyfriend, including go to jail in order to see him.

Cedar Park police tell KEYETV Alicia Walicke recently walked into a store and took a $3.99 bottle of wine.

She wanted to get caught.  When officers arrived at the scene, Walicke was outside the store drinking her wine.

Once in custody, Walicke admitted her theft was planned out.

Her boyfriend had been arrested earlier in the night and it was her fault.  So, she wanted to be in jail in order to make things right.

She has been charged with a class B misdemeanor.

No word on if the couple reconciled.
