Woman calls in shooting to hide crack pipe

We've learned an Oklahoma City woman's plan to distract officers failed earlier this week.

Police tell Newsok.com they  pulled over Rosetta Grate and a driver on a routine traffic stop.  Grate was said to have exited her pickup and told officers they were rushing to see her father around the corner.

While officers were checking her information, 911 received a call stating there had been a shooting.

There was just one problem.

Police say the call was made from Grate's phone.  Officers checked her phone to bust her for the fake call.

It turned out, Grate had made the call in hopes officers would leave and not check her purse.  Police say they ended up finding two crack pipes with residue.

She was taken into custody and faces multiple counts including making a false 911 call, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing an officer.
