Woman breaks door, stabs man who had locked her out after argument

A domestic dispute between roommates leaves a man stabbed in the stomach.

We're told the male victim had locked the female suspect out of the apartment after an argument about 1:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Gary Otterstrom tells KRMG that the victim is expected to recover, but the suspect ran away from the scene near 6400 South Newport Avenue.

"It was over her having some friends over. Apparently she left the apartment and he had locked her out. When she returned, she was able to break the door in and produced a knife and stabbed him one time in the abdomen," Otterstrom said.

She fled before police officers arrived.

The victim, 31-year old Leon Gordman, sustained non life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to a hospital.

Police are looking for the suspect.
