Tulsa, Okla. - A Commerce man was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on Monday, thanks to the help of a witness.
Tulsa police say Cesar Carrillo was traveling down the wrong side of the road, when he hit another vehicle near Admiral and Garnett. After the crash, he sped away from the scene.
A witness saw the crash and followed Carrillo.
Eventually, the suspect stopped and dumped two bags in a grassy area.
A short time later, officers showed up and took Carrillo into custody. The witness showed officers where Carrillo had ditched the bags.
It turned out, the bags contained nearly 58 grams of meth.
Police say Carrillo faces multiple counts including DUI, hit and run, and meth trafficking.
