TULSA - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several counties in northeast Oklahoma.
The advisory includes Washington, Craig, Nowata, Ottawa, Rogers, Mayes, and Delaware Counties.
The NWS says a "fast moving upper level disturbance" is producing light snowfall in the affected area.
With surface temperatures remaining well below freezing, any snow that falls will stick, creating hazardous driving conditions.
Rapid accumulations of up to half an inch are possible with the storm.
The storm is moving quickly, and should clear the area in a matter of a few hours.
The advisory expires at 8:00 p.m. Central Time Monday evening.
