Winter Weather Advisory for Tulsa area

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Tulsa and surrounding counties until Noon today.

National Weather Service say the advisory effects: Pawnee, Washington, Osage, Craig, Nowata, Creek, Tulsa, and Rogers Counties.

Freezing rain or drizzle could put a light glaze of ice on roadways.  Do be mindful while driving, especially on bridges and overpasses.

NWS say the high for Saturday will be around 40 degrees.

Temperatures will go down on Sunday.  The NWS say the high will only be around 32 degrees.

Light snow is also expected in the area for Sunday.  Less than one inch has been predicted for Tulsa.
