Wife says husband pulled their son up by his hair

Police were called out to a Tulsa hospital late Friday evening after an 11-year-old boy had signs of child abuse.

Officers say 30-year-old Shane Andrew Sodsaikich was arrested early Saturday morning after his wife said he abused their child.

He's accused of grabbing his son by the hair to pick him up, pushing the child back down twice, shouting at him and pushing his head against the wall.

Police say the boy had a bruise on his hip and a bump on his head.

The wife witnessed the entire incident.

Officers say she told them that she tried to get her husband to stop, but he wouldn't listen to reason.

No word on what set the suspect off.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
