Weekend warmup coming for Tulsa

After an often dreary workweek filled with rainshowers and freeze warnings, temperatures will rebound on Saturday with highs in the upper 60's and will really heat up on Sunday with highs around 80 degrees.

News on 6 meteorologist Travis Meyer says cloudy skies will stifle the warmup somewhat on Saturday.

"Looks like our chance of rain increasing a little bit to between 30 and 40 percent as we go through Saturday," Trav says.  "But temperatures still managing to be in the mid-60's."

He says Sunday will have partly sunny skies, windy conditions, and very warm temperatures, around 80 degrees for the high.

Trav says the warmup continues on Monday with a high in the upper 70's and with just a slight chance of rainshowers.
