Weather forces cancellation of Jingle Bell Run

Saturday's Jingle Bell Run in downtown Tulsa is being cancelled because of the weather.

Jennifer Tetley with the Arthritis Foundation says the decision to cancel the event wasn't easy. Tetley says, "We have been closely monitoring the weather and after consulting with city officials the Arthritis Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk."

Arthritis Association officials tell KRMG that, due to previously scheduled events and the holidays, the 2013 Tulsa Jingle Bell Run will not be rescheduled.

No refunds will be given.
