No wasting of ammo, man drops crook with single shot

The homeowner came home to find a bad guy inside gathering up his stuff in order to steal it.

The man was able to grab one of his guns and confront the crook, he then put one shot in his chest.

That was all it took.

After being shot the man jumped through a window and got into his car. As he tried to drive away he crashed into a fence and died in the car.

Cops told KHLX-TV  "the homeowner is not injured, and it's unknown as to whether or not the intruder had a firearm or any type of weapon on his person at the time of the confrontation."

Once they began looking into the dead man police now believe he had broken into several others houses in the area in the past.
