If it sounds like a job you’d like all you have to do is send a resume’ to the Svalbard region of Norway.
That’s where they need someone with a keen eye and a big coat to keep an eye peeled for the fluffy white yet very dangerous bears.
The rest of the job description is pretty simple as well. Yell as loud as you can when you see one.
The area is being used for research and it’s scientists who are in need of protection.
They would like applicants to know their way around a gun even though they hope you won‘t need to use it “just as long as they have a loud voice to scare the bears.”
Researchers say the region is known for polar bears. They outnumber humans 3,000 to 2,400 in the area.
