Visitors flock to small Oklahoma town from all over the U.S.

Main Street in Tishomingo is booming.

City leaders say the town, with 3,000 people, is now a destination location like Branson, Missouri.

They’ve never seen so many people in town in their entire lives.

The reason for the sudden increase is due to work by two famous country music stars who call Tishomingo home.

Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert have opened a clothing store called “The Pink Pistol.”

There are also rumors that the couple is working on a bed and breakfast at a building across the street.

Lambert fans are going nuts over her merchandise and some are upset they can't buy items online.

A message from Miranda on Facebook says, " I have opened The Pink Pistol to share my hometown of Tishomingo, Ok, small town America, and to help drive commerce into my little town.”

She says,”For this reason, I have decided not to do an online store or online shopping. I hope you all understand my intentions, come in and have fun.. and enjoy!"

Fans say that’s not fair and many can’t afford a plane ticket just to come to Tishomingo.

One fan posts on Facebook, “I have a lot of respect for her on this decision. She could have very easily capitalized on her fame and made lots of money by offering online sales, but instead chose to limit sales to in-store so that customers would visit Tishomingo.”

Lambert says she wants everyone to come visit her own piece of Heaven.

The couple recently received several awards at the CMT Music Awards.

Shelton won Male Video of the Year for "Sure Be Cool If You Did."

He also has a top roll on NBC’s “The Voice.”

Lambert won Performance of the Year for "Over You" and Female Video of the Year for "Mama's Broken Heart."
