The duo had it set up this way.
The woman would get out of the car and pump the gas while her partner in crime stayed in the driver’s seat, ready to go.
The attendant at the station in Australia becomes suspicious and begins walking around near the pump.
That’s when the person in the car panics and hits the gas.
Trouble was, the hose was still in the car and the woman was still holding onto it.
She was flipped into the air as gas gushed from the hose and the attendant ran for a fire extinguisher.
The pair escaped after the woman got up and ran to the car, jumping in.
Police told The Australian they're are still trying to trace the car and confirm this kind of crime is very common in the area.
