TULSA - Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Highway 75 near Apache just after 9:00 Monday morning.
Police tell KRMG a City of Skiatook trash truck lost control on a curve and rolled after the driver over-corrected.
Highway 75 was completely shut down for hours as police investigated the wreck.
They told us on the scene it was extremely fortunate that no other vehicles were involved.
Three people who were on the truck were taken to area hospitals, one in critical condition.
The southbound truck ended up in two pieces; the cab was on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes, facing south.
The back half of the trash truck ended up upside down in the center median.
Police initially just shut down the northbound lanes, and cleared the traffic that was trapped by the accident and couldn't get through.
They then shut down the southbound lanes as well to conduct an investigation.
