VIDEO: Armed suspects flub robbery, flee in terror

Two guys casually walked into the store pretending to be interested customers.

Once they felt the clerk at Marlene’s Jewelry was sufficiently distracted, one pulled a handgun and the other pulled out his cellphone.

As the man with the gun gave his orders, the other tried to hop over the counter, but failed miserably. After his embarrassing leap, he took a more practical approach and just walked around the counter.

Just a few seconds later, the two saw something they never expected, a shotgun pointed right at them.

The owner was in the back the whole time with his daughter and young grandchild and heard his employee screaming. He came out front with his shotgun locked and loaded.

The nervous robbers are clearly shocked and terrified as they bolt out the front door.

The owner of the Fresno store, Soledad Castaneda, says he was angry that the young men threatened his family and the store he worked so hard to build.
