Victim's vehicle hit twice in south Tulsa

A man is in custody following a wild police pursuit in south Tulsa Friday night.

Police tell us everything started with a hit-an-run crash near 61st and Highway 169.  The victim followed the suspect until officers could arrive.

A chase ensued and the suspect rammed into a squad car while at the Greens of Bedford apartments. The vehicle chase came to an end when the suspect hit a sign and the original hit-and-run victim's vehicle again.

Police say the suspect then tried his luck on foot, but didn’t get very far.  He was subdued and arrested a short time later.

As of early Saturday morning, his name hasn’t been released.
