Vehicle leaves highway, crashes into building

A vehicle heading Northbound on Highway 75 left the road and hit the United Steel Workers of America building early Sunday morning.

Tulsa police tell KRMG it happened around 2:20 a.m., near 20th and Southwest Boulevard.

When police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrived at the scene, they found an empty vehicle.  Police say the driver of the car fled the scene.

There is no word how many people were inside the vehicle when it crashed.

Police say they have no way of knowing if the accident was alcohol related because the suspect fled.

OHP is investigating the accident and is searching for the driver of the vehicle.  At last check, troopers don't have anybody in custody.
