Update: Wanted man leads lawmen on high-speed chase through Tulsa

Update

A person of interest in a Tahlequah murder case gets away during a police chase, but his two-year old daughter is found alone inside the car later.

Lawmen tried to stop 33-year old Joshua Schneider who was driving a silver Nissan sedan yesterday near 21st and the Mingo Valley Expressway, but he got away.

The car was found about two hours later near Pine Street and Garnett Road with Schneider's daughter inside, unhurt.

We're told Schneider and a female friend left the area on foot, but a Tulsa Police Department helicopter and search dogs failed to find the pair.

Authorities want to talk to Schneider about the killing of NSU professor Tiffany Maher.

She was found dead at home in Tahlequah on May 31st.

Tulsa Police and OSBI agents are on the lookout for a man that led them on a high-speed chase through Tulsa Thursday afternoon.

33-year-old Joshua Schneider is a person of interest in the murder of Northeastern State University professor Tiffany Rene Maher in Tahlequah May 31st.

Schneider also has a pair of felony warrants.

The warrants against Schneider are false declaration of property and failure to comply with the Oklahoma sex offender registry act.

Both have a $100,000 bond attached.

If you know where Schneider is, call 911.
