Tulsa, Okla. - Update
The mother of a toddler found wandering down the road near 56th and Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard has been found.
Tulsa police say the mother saw her child's photo on the news.
She told officers a babysitter should have been watching the little girl, so she was unaware that the toddler was missing.
Police say child crisis detectives are going to try and find the babysitter and will be interviewing the mother.
The toddler is currently at a local shelter.
Tulsa police are investigating after a toddler is found wandering alone in Tulsa around 11:30 p.m. Monday.
We're told that someone in a neighborhood near 56th Street North and Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard found the child who was dressed only in a night gown and a diaper.
Police tell us that the girl appears to be between 18 months and 2 years old and seems to be in good health.
The girl was taken into protective custody.
Police were canvassing the neighborhood where the girl was found and are trying to locate the girl's parents.
