UPDATE: Three shooting victims hospitalized, Tulsa Police look for gunmen

NOTE: KRMG has corrected earlier versions of this report, which had erroneously reported that one of the three victims had died.  An officer on the scene earlier said a female victim had died as a result of her injuries.  The official police public information office informs us she's alive, but in very grave condition. ~ Joe Kelley, News Dir.

A drive-by shooting brings lots of police activity to an area near 61st and Peoria overnight.

Tulsa Police tell us three people were wounded about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

"The crime scene started basically a little bit west of here at 63rd where one victim was found and two more additional victims were found south on Owasso Place," police say.

KRMG News has learned that the incident began inside an apartment near that location and spilled out onto the street.

That's where two women and one man were shot.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Gary Otterstrom told KRMG News that "the two women had gunshot wounds to the head and the chest, the man had a wound to the chest."

The Tulsa police helicopter was used to search the area for two suspects, but we're told there is very little description to go on other than it was two black males.

Police are looking for a white car that may have been involved in the shooting.
