Update: Shot dog gets euthanized

We told you earlier this week about a dog who was found on Monday near Apache and Harvard with a gunshot wound.

Animal Aid of Tulsa reports Sid was euthanized because his quality of life had suffered too much.

“Some sort of powerful handgun had actually shot him through the right side,” an official with Animal Aid of Tulsa said.   “The bullet landed on the left side of the spine.”

So far, no arrests have been made.

However, Animal Aid of Tulsa has already raised $3,000 to go toward a reward to solve the case.  Anyone with information regarding the shooting can call Animal Aid of Tulsa or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
