Update: Second person dies from Saturday morning club shooting

Update: Tulsa police say a second victim has died after being shot at a private club near 11th and Sheridan early Saturday morning.

Police report 21-year-old Marrico McGuire was one of the victims who died due to gunshot wounds.  The name of second victim hasn't been released.

A third gunshot victim is still in the hospital along with a woman who was hit by a vehicle at the scene.

Original: Gunfire erupted inside a private after hours club early Saturday morning leaving one person dead and three more in the hospital, including two gunshot victims and the victim of a hit-and-run autoped.

It all began just before 3:00 a.m. in the 5500 block of E. 11th St., just east of 11th and S. Yale Ave.

A witness who heard the gunfire told KRMG near the scene it began with a single gunshot.

"I heard one single shot, then it must have been about fifteen seconds, and then I heard consecutive -- at least eight to ten -- and then it stopped for about fifteen seconds, and I heard another three."

Tulsa Police Sgt. Chris Moudy told KRMG he found one of the gunshot victims as he arrived on the scene.

Another victim turned up at Hillcrest Medical Center in a private vehicle, and an OHP trooper pulled over a car with the third gunshot victim.

He allowed that car to proceed to Hillcrest.

Meanwhile, police found the female victim of the hit-and-run collision.

She says a champagne-colored vehicle ran over her as she attempted to run from the gunfire.

One of the male victims at Hillcrest died, the other had gunshot wounds to the neck and police call his injuries possibly life-threatening.

St. John Medical Center received the third gunshot victim, he had wounds to the lower back and leg.

Moudy told KRMG he could not definitively say if gang activity may have had something to do with the shootings, but said it was certainly possible.

Police taped down a two-block stretch of E. 11th St., from Fulton Ave. to Hudson Ave., blocking all traffic in both directions.
