UPDATE: Police pursuit ends with crash near Promenade Mall

Update: We now know the name of the teenager who led officers on a high-speed chase on Friday.

Tulsa police say Luis Chairez was arrested on multiple counts including possession of a firearm while committing a felony, hit and run, and eluding.  He's currently at the Tulsa County Jail.

Two other people in the car possessed marijuana.  Police didn't release their names.

Original story: If you were anywhere near 41st and Yale Friday afternoon, you may have noticed a lot of lights and sirens.

Cops were chasing a suspect that crashed about 3:30 near Promenade Mall.

Officers tell FOX23 that they spotted three people selling drugs from inside a car near 37th and Braden Ave.

The Cadillac sped down Yale and turned onto 41st Street and crashed into a black Mustang.

KRMG listeners say police cruisers from every direction raced toward the scene.

The driver of the Mustang is expected to survive.

Westbound traffic on 41st near New Haven was diverted.

All three suspects were taken into custody.
