UPDATE: Police arrest suspect in armed robbery of elderly couple in Broken Arrow

UPDATE:

Tulsa Police arrested 30-year-old Michael Tanner Lank yesterday on an unrelated charge of false declaration.

Investigators tell KRMG that Lank had items belonging to the elderly couple which tied Lank to the Broken Arrow robbery.

Broken Arrow Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a man that broke into an elderly couple's home and robbed them with a knife.

Investigators tell KRMG that, around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, a man wearing a ski mask broke into the home near 131st St and 161st East Ave.

The 84-year-old homeowner told police that the suspect had entered his home without permission and threatened him with a large knife.

The homeowner’s wife arrived home and the suspect knocked her to the ground as he fled.

The suspect left the area in a red Nissan Titan pickup.

Neither victim was seriously injured.
