Tulsa police say Michael Lyke was arrested for possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
Witnesses told police Lyke and the victim exchanged gunfire. He may not arrested for murder because the shooting appeared to be in self-defense.
Tulsa police say the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, near 53rd and Frankfort.
Parker was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers believe the victim was shot down the street and he attempted to get to safety. Police say it appears the man couldn't go any further due to his injury and collapsed.
