UPDATED: June 22, 2014 @ 7:35 a.m. KRMG has learned that one man has died from the incident that took place earlier this morning. KRMG will keep you advised of updates on this developing story.

A fight between two groups of men in an east Tulsa parking lot left one man clinging to life and sent at least one more to the hospital. Police and witnesses at the scene tell KRMG a group of men got kicked out of Imperio Event Center, also known as Club Imperio, near E. 21st St. and 145th E. Ave. around 1:30 Sunday morning. The men then tried to get into a party at the nearby Eastgate Event Center, where a quincenera (birthday party for a 15-year-old girl) was being held. They were told to leave, and once outside they got into a fight with another group of men. Witnesses describe all the parties involved as Hispanic gang members. Police said they're investigating possible gang involvement. One man, described as being 37 years old, was stabbed in the chest and was unresponsive when police and EMSA arrived. A witness told KRMG the man wasn't moving at all when he arrived moments after the stabbing. A second victim was stabbed in the arm during the fight, but his injuries were not life-threatening. One witness said a security guard from Imperio was injured trying to break up the fight, and may have suffered some broken ribs. That information was not confirmed by police; the man reportedly drove himself to the hospital. Repeated calls to TPD for an update on his condition were not returned. KRMG has learned that a security guard at one of the event centers was able to identify several possible suspects, pointing police to their online profiles. So far, however, there has been no word of arrests. Police have not yet released the names of the victims.
