UPDATE: Family says body of missing fisherman has been found

Update: Osage County Sheriff's office confirms the body of Adrian Smith has been found.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol had called off the search Monday evening.

No word on where or when they body was found.

UPDATE: Deputies with the Osage County Sheriff's Office have given up the search for the missing fisherman.

Divers with Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Osage County Sheriff's Office are at Hominy Lake for the second day to search for a missing fisherman.

On Sunday, deputies arrived at the lake where two men were fishing about 100 yards from the shore.

One of the men says their boat flipped over in the water.

The man who made it to shore realized his buddy wasn’t beside him swimming.

He says he turned around and swam to the area where he last saw his friend, but could not find him.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol worked through the afternoon until 8:30 Sunday evening attempting to recover the body.

Divers are having a difficult time trying to find anything because of heavy vegetation in the lake.

At this time no recovery has been made.
