TULSA, Okla. - Update
The Amber Alert was cancelled after Jason Allen Taylor was located at about 5 a.m. Thursday.
The 2-year old was abducted Tuesday night by his father William Taylor, who also has been located.
The news conference revealed that three men were going fishing near 106th Street North and North Lewis Avenue east of Skiatook early Thursday morning when they saw an open gate.
After some investigating, the men spotted the black Chevy Tahoe with the license tag number that had been described in the Amber Alert.
Tulsa County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene and spotted William Corey Taylor and the missing boy Jason Allen Taylor inside the vehicle.
We're told that William Taylor saw the trio and locked the doors on the vehicle.
Deputies broke one of the truck's windows and Taylor was persuaded to release his son.
William Taylor was taken into custody.
Jason Taylor was taken to the Amber Alert Operations Center where he was reunited with his mother.
An Amber Alert has been issued for 2-year-old Jason Allen Taylor.
Tulsa Police tell KRMG that Jason was taken Tuesday evening around 9:30 from 5621 E. 71st Pl. by his biological father, William Corey Taylor.
Our partners at FOX23 have learned that Taylor used a credit card at a dollar store in Collinsville around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor is said to have family in Collinsville.
Jason has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a blue Batman shirt and diaper.
Investigators tell KRMG that Taylor has a history of violence and suffers from a mental illness.
Court records show that there is a permanent protective order in place for Jason Taylor with William Taylor as the defendant.
Taylor is described as a 28-year-old white man with brown hair, blonde beard and blue eyes. He is 5’02” and weighs 175 lbs.
Police say Taylor left with Jason in a black Chevrolet Tahoe with Oklahoma tag '965-AJK'.
