Oklahoma City - We've learned the unemployment rate in Oklahoma increased a slight amount last month.
The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission reported on Monday unemployment rose to 4.6 percent in July. This is up from 4.5 percent in June.
There was a decrease of 3,600 jobs in professional and business services last month.
The trade, transportation, and utility sector also saw declines. According to the report, the trade lost 1,900 jobs.
Still, Oklahoma is still doing better the national average, which stands at 6.2 percent.
