BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Details remain sparse, but Broken Arrow police have confirmed that a two-year-old boy has died from an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The 911 call came in a few minutes before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
BAPD Cpl. Leon Calhoun said it happened in the 3500 block of E. Aurora Street.
The child was transported to a hospital, but could not be revived.
Police have offered no details about the nature of the weapon, nor to whom it may have belonged.
They have also not made any statements about how the child got his hands on the gun.
