Two people injured in collision involving stalled car on Mingo Valley Expressway

A rear-end collision on the Mingo Valley Expressway sends two people to the hospital overnight.

Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon tells us a man and a woman were injured when another driver slammed into their stalled car.

Solomon tells us the other driver may have been drinking before the crash that happened about 2 a.m. Friday.

"We're still trying to gather information on it. We don't know for sure exactly if they were inside or if they were outside pushing the vehicle."

We're told the driver who struck their car was trying to merge from the Broken Arrow Expressway and go northbound on the Mingo Valley Expressway around 2 a.m. Friday.

"When she looked back to see if any other vehicles were coming, by the time she turned and faced back forward she collided with the vehicle that was on the roadway."

One of the victims who was hospitalized had a broken arm.

The other victim was unconscious when they left the scene.

We're told the woman whose car hit the couple may have been drinking and driving but she has not been arrested.
