Two men are arrested after overnight robbery spree

Two of three suspects were arrested early this morning in connection with a home invasion, assault, and armed robbery at the Stonegate Apartments and a subsequent armed robbery of a pedestrian and his child at a convenience store. T-P-D officers, acting on a tip, looked for the suspects at the apartment complex after the complaints were phoned in. Two of the suspects were found by a canine police officer, one in a dumpster and another in some poison ivy. Both of the suspects were transported to a local hospital with dog bites. A third suspect is still at large. The resident of the apartment received head injuries during the break in but they are not believed to be life threatening.
