Tulsa police confiscated eleven guns while putting 46 violent crime suspects behind bars during a special assignment recently. Tulsa resident Carey Jackson is glad to see police taking action that could keep little kids from getting hurt in drive-by shootings. "I'm proud of what they're doing. They have to do what they have to do to keep everyone protected," Jackson said. We're told that among the eleven guns that were taken off the streets during the last three weeks was a loaded AK-47 and a homemade 22-caliber zip gun. Fox 23 News participated in a ride-along with Tulsa police recently in which a juvenile was located with an ankle monitor stemming from a gun crime. Police also made 14 drug arrests during the special assignment.
