Tulsa police searching for sexual assault suspect in multipleattacks

Tulsa police are investigating three attacks on Tulsa women in in the last week.

Police said on Thursday, June 5 at 5:00 a.m., a man broke into an apartment near 41st and Peoria and threatened the women inside by holding a knife to the her throat. He told her not to look at him as he simulated a sexual act on the victim. The suspect made lewd comments to the victim that were similar to comments made during later attacks.

The suspect eventually left the apartment with the victim's purse.

Then, police said around 6 a.m. Friday June 6 a man attacked a woman at the Coppermill Apartments near 71st and Sheridan. They said he grabbed the woman's purse and laptop and forced her to the ground and made sexual comments. Police said the man pulled the woman's pants down but she fought him off and he ran with her purse.

Then on June 8, police said a woman was feeding her pet around 6 a.m. in the 4200 block of South Detroit when a man broke into her house, made several sexual comments and took off with some cash from the woman's kitchen.

Police said on Wednesday night a woman's power went out near 14th and Elwood and the woman went outside to see if her neighbor had power, their home had power. When she went back in her house a man was inside and attacked and raped her. Police said he also made sexual comments similar to the other incidents.

The sexual comments make police think incidents are all connected and this guy is escalating his attacks quickly. Police think he might have a car or a bike since these attacks are so far from each other.

Police have a very vague description of the attacker and want anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
