Tulsa police investigating 27th homicide of 2013

Someone reportedly stabbed a man to death inside his north Tulsa home Saturday.

Police got the call after neighbors noticed the victim's dog alone in the man's pickup truck outside the house near E. Admiral Blvd. and N. Florence Pl. a little before 4:00 p.m.

Detectives say there were no signs of forced entry, but they found signs of a struggle inside the home.

Neighbors told FOX 23 News they spoke with the victim as late as 11:00 a.m. Saturday and that he was fine at the time.

The landlord who owns the property told FOX 23 the man's girlfriend had threatened him in the past, and had vandalized his vehicle.

Police took a woman to the detective division for questioning.

TPD had not released the identity of the victim, but says he was between 50 and 70 years old.

A number of neighbors said the victim was extremely friendly, and well-liked by everyone in the neighborhood.
