Two men are arrested after a police chase through a Tulsa neighborhood.
Tulsa Police Corporal Jason Muse tells us the chase started near 31st and Yale during a routine traffic stop about 11:30 last night.
"The Gang Unit officers saw them inside (the car) and they appeared to be drinking and possibly smoking marijuana and when they did the vehicle just took off," Muse said.
We're told officers saw the suspects throwing some objects out of the car window during the chase.
"Liquor bottles were thrown out and it looks like a car seat was thrown out, we don't know why."
The driver was arrested on traffic offenses and an occupant was arrested for possession of a controlled drug, Muse said.
Two women, who were also in the speeding vehicle, were released by police at the end of the chase near 36th and South Darlington Avenue.
