A speeding driver and his passenger got arrested at the end of a Tulsa police chase overnight.
The chase started about 2 a.m. Friday when an officer saw a driver speeding on 61st Street near Mingo Road.
The chase ended nearby in a cul-de-sac near 90th Place and 61st where the men bailed and ran.
We're told when police approached the car they could smell marijuana but couldn't find any pot.
Officers called for the police helicopter and a canine and it wasn't long before both suspects were nabbed.
Gary Kruse with the News On 6 says, "One of the men had warrants. One of the men was arrested for possession of a firearm."
Kruse says police believe both men had just left a nearby club before the chase began.
