Tulsa man accused of wielding Samurai sword to attack his father

A Tulsa man is accused of attacking his father with a Samurai sword.

We're told 22-year old Taylor Allen Kinyon attacked his dad with the sword Sunday morning at a house near 61st and South Harvard.

Kinyon faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, then trying to run away as police tried to place him in the patrol car.

Kinyon's arrest report tells us the victim was cut on the arm during the attack that caused bleeding and swelling.

Kinyon is in jail on a $26,000 bond.

Records show Kinyon has had two protective orders filed against him in the past.

One of those women also filed a paternity suit along with an emergency protective order against Kinyon three years ago.

The order was dismissed about ten months later.

Another woman who said she was Kinyon's girlfriend also was granted a protective order, but it was dismissed a month later when she did not appear in court.
