Wed, July 26, 2017 — This lingering heat in Tulsa is effecting more than just humans.
The Humane Society of Tulsa is having a problem with an air-conditioner that keeps breaking down. Since the spring, they keep fixing the air-conditioner, but it doesn't take.
An official reports the facility houses anywhere from 40 and 80 pets on any given day. Without a working air conditioner, the shelter space is unusable.
They are asking for donations from the public, in order to to purchase a new air-conditioner.
