The price for gasoline in the Tulsa area has risen by another dime.
Quiktrip had posted the price for unleaded regular gasoline at $3.49 on Thursday.
Kum N Go stores had not raised their price for gasoline by early Friday morning, still showing the price at $3.39 per gallon.
Some gasoline retailers including Quiktrip posted a 17-cent price increase for unleaded regular on Monday afternoon.
Some gas price experts attribute the price increase to stock market averages, which climbed to 1,500 for the first time on Monday.
One expert says refineries tend to slow down during the springtime to do maintenance and that could be driving the prices higher as well.
