Tulsa gasoline prices increase 10-cents per gallon

Motorists can find a wide variety of gasoline prices this morning on the way to work, anywhere from $3.28 to $3.39 is what we found in the Tulsa area early Friday.

Gary Kruse at the News On 6 tells us that QuikTrip and the Sinclair truck stop out on I-44 were the highest prices at $3.39.

The lowest price we found was $3.28 at the Flying J at Admiral Place and 129th East Avenue, with Kum & Go and some other stations indicating prices that were in between.

The price increase may be due to slow production at some U.S. refineries coupled with a five-percent increase in oil prices in 2013.
