TULSA - Voters in Jenks and Collinsville say yes to streets and schools, but Glenpool will not get more sales tax money for a sports facility.
Glenpool voters narrowly defeated a six-tenths of a penny sales tax.
It would have funded a new regional sports complex for little league baseball and soccer.
Collinsville, though, easily passed a record-setting school bond issue.
Roughly 84% of voters in Collinsville approved the bond.
The bulk of that money will build a new school for fourth and fifth graders.
As expected, Jenks passed both of its bond proposals to pay for street and sewer repairs and upgrades.
