Tulsa Chapter of Red Cross says donations go to Oklahoma tornado victims

KRMG has been getting conflicting information about where your donations to the Red Cross actually go. KRMG took action and went straight to the source.

Donita Quesnel with the Tulsa Chapter of the American Red Cross tells KRMG that donations that are texted in to 90999 currently go to Oklahoma tornado victims. Quesnel says, "They've made the decision that all text donations coming in since May 20th and for the foreseeable future will be designated to the Oklahoma tornadoes.

Quesnel says there's an easy way to make sure your money goes to Moore. Quesnel says, "They can do so by sending a check and indicating in the memo line where they want those funds to be used."
