A bar fight between friends over a woman turns nasty when one of the suitors grabs a gun from his truck.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Darren Bristow tells us the bartender at the Four Aces bar near 41st and Garnett told the fighters to take it outside at about 2:23 a.m. Tuesday.
"They got outside got into a fight where one subject retrieved a firearm from his truck and shot the toher one in the leg," Bristow said.
"The individual who had the firearm also had a concealed-carry permit. He was subsequently arrested for possession of a firearm while intoxicated and reckless discharge of a firearm. Officers will take possession of his concealed-carry permit and send it to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for their review since they are the governing agency for conceal-carry permits."
We're told that after the victim was taken to the hospital, he told police not to file charges against the shooter because the shooter and he were friends.
