(Associated Press)- The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents has approved a $1.17 billion budget that includes no tuition increase for in-state undergraduate students.

The board met Friday in Tulsa.
 
Tuition for OSU undergraduates who are not from Oklahoma will rise 2.9 percent _ or about $570 per year. In-state graduate student tuition is going up 1.8 percent, about $120 per year, while nonresident graduate students will pay 3
percent more, about $576 per year.
 
OSU said in a news release that the increases will help provide for about 60 new faculty and graduate assistant positions.
