The CNN/ORC Poll shows The Donald with a remarkable 41% of voters in his corner. That more than doubles Ted Cruz, a distant second at 19%.
It’s the first-time Trump has garnered more than 40% in this poll.
Analysts say the key to Trump’s success is his binding together blue-collar workers nationwide, many of who don’t trust anyone currently in elected office.
Cruz told a group of followers in the Hawkeye state a win in Iowa could be the beginning of a Trump landslide. “Right now has substantial lead in New Hampshire, if we went on to win New Hampshire as well there’s a very good chance, he could be unstoppable.”
