Trial begins for man accused of tossing 2-year old girl into creek

A murder trial is set to start today for a New Jersey man charged with tossing his 2-year-old daughter into a creek while she was still strapped in her car seat.

Authorities say Arthur Morgan III weighed down the seat with a tire-changing jack so that it would sink.

The body of Tierra Morgan-Glover was found in a creek in November 2011 after her father failed to return the girl to her mother following a trip to the movies.

Morgan fled to California following the child's death.
