Traffic Alert: Highway 169 narrowed for construction

As ODOT continues work on Highway 169 at Highway 266 (46^th St N.), crews will be narrowing the highway for several hours.

The southbound direction of Hwy 169 will be narrowed down to just one lane from 8 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. At certain times during that period, the highway may be completely shut down for up to 20 minutes at a time.

The same work will be going on in the northbound direction of Hwy 169 Friday night at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday.

ODOT says drivers can expect periodic closures such as these through August as the construction of two new bridges and all new on and off ramps wraps up.
